Kevin Nash Biography

Kevin Nash has appeared in Paramount Pictures' The Longest Yard (dir. Peter Segal) with Adam Sandler, Chris Rock and Burt Reynolds, in Marvel Comics'/Artisan Entertainment's The Punisher (dir. Jonathan Hensleigh) opposite John Travolta and Thomas Jane, and as Bass Armstrong in DOA: Dead or Alive (dir. Corey Yuen) based on the popular video game with Jaime Pressly. Formerly in TNA Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling on Spike TV, Kevin is now back with WWE as Deisel.

At 6' 10" with pure muscle mass and the looks of an outlaw biker, Kevin Nash has the wit of Howard Stern and intelligent opinions on everything from sports to feminism to politics, and backs up all of his claims with biting humor and surprising wisdom! Is it unusual for a man who has achieved stardom in the world of professional wrestling to read the New Yorker on a daily basis and take the lead in philosophical conversation at dinner? It's no wonder that Kevin Nash, better known as BIG SEXY to his fans, is one of the most well known personalities in the wrestling business and has established himself not only in the realm of sports, but in the entertainment world as well.

Kevin’s work in TV an FILM includes Brothers (FOX), The New Love Boat (UPN), Sabrina the Teenage Witch (ABC), and Nikki (WB). He has also hosted VH1's The List and been a guest on such talk shows as The Test, The Tonight Show, Politically Incorrect and Jimmy Kimmel.

Kevin’s additional work on the big screen includes Almighty Thor (dir. Chris Ray), The Newest Pledge (dir. Jason Michael Brescia), and Monster Brawl (dir. Jesse T. Cook).

Kevin grew up in Detroit, Michigan with dreams of playing on a professional basketball team. He played basketball for the University of Tennessee and headed overseas for several years where his dream of becoming a pro-basketball player came true, playing for various European teams.

Only after serving in the United States Army for two years did Kevin's life turn to wrestling. He began working for WTBS, and in 1993 he signed with Vince McMahon and the World Wrestling Federation (WWF). The rest... is history.

Currently, Kevin has just finished shooting Rock of Ages (dir. Adam Shankman) with Tom Cruise, Paul Giamatti, and Russell Brand. He starts shooting Steven Soderberg’s Magic Mike later this month.

In his free time, Kevin spends time with his wife and son.
